The Hoof Boot is used and recommended by veterinarians for the treatment of ailments within the hoof capsule including: founder, laminitis, navicular, abscesses, coffin bone injuries, sore feet/heels, slow hoof growth, ringbone, sidebone and bruising. The Hoof Boot encompasses the entire foot from the coronary band to the ground. It contains a Hoof Pad with 15 infrared diodes, a light spectrum not visible by the naked eye. 15 visible red diodes treat the coronary band and ten visible red diodes treat the back of the foot. The diodes are staggered, treating the coronary band, regardless of the length of the foot. Ten diodes at the back of the foot are positioned over the bulbs of the heels, navicular bursa, lateral cartilage and the interphalangeal joint. The Hoof Boot operates on two frequency settings, alternating between the two every two minutes. Treatment times will vary with the severity of the injury. The recommended treatment time for most injuries is fifteen minutes once a day, although it is perfectly safe to treat the hoof more than once per day.
