The Whole Horse Story
My husband's face fell as the shop assistant showed him the men's breeches. There they hung several ancient, dusty pairs in a nasty beige stretchy fabric. We had been through the same scenario several times that day. I could not believe that these sad specimens were all the equestrian clothing industry had to offer. Surely there must be male riders all over the country going through the same depressing shopping experience. I decided to investigate, a few months later I had found some great products from Tally Ho and in 2000 Jods for the Boys was born.
I was delighted with the response to Jods for the Boys but much to my surprise I started to receive enquiries from female riders asking if I would be offering ladies styles. A little more research and I found some great quality products for women and children too. Jods for the Boys was clearly not going to be applicable to a business catering for men, women and children, so after much deliberation in 2003 we became Whole Horse.
We will continue to add new products to our website; we are passionate about quality and will not add a product that we would not be happy to purchase ourselves. Please do not hesitate to contact us if there is something particular you are looking for and we will do our very best to source it for you.

As we are a small family business it is likely that you will speak to Diane or Martin if you call the office. Our office is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, the office is closed at weekends. We do occasionally take a few days off, at those times the office will be closed but you can still place orders via the website for processing when we return. We will always advise on the website if the office is closed for a few days.
